Before the first kilometers on the Camino de Santiago, there is the arrival in Le Puy-en-Velay. It’s time to discover the city, prepare for your departure, and get a good night's sleep. At 11 Place de la Halle, in the historic center, the five rooms at Laplace welcome those wishing to stop over before taking the GR65.

Arrive the day before and take your time

The narrow streets of Le Puy, the cathedral, a coffee on a terrace: arriving a day or two before your departure also allows you to enjoy the city. Laplace is located in the historic center. You can explore the area around Place de la Halle and reach the cathedral on foot.

Le Puy-en-Velay is the starting point of the Puy route, also known as the Via Podiensis. To plan your stages and find practical information about the GR65, consult the official information for the Camino de Santiago.

A room, breakfast, and time at the spa

At Laplace, every room has its own character. Whether you need a room for one night in Le Puy, a bathtub to relax in, or a suite with a living room and kitchen to stay for a few days, our four categories allow you to choose the stay that suits you best.

Breakfast and one hour of access to the pool and sauna are included per person, per stay. The relaxation area must be booked in advance; massages and Apoticari treatments are available for an additional fee.
